KHS.MFL: A water-based, transparent, odorless, safe, and environmentally-friendly fire retardant solution used for fire protection of cellulose-based products such as MDF boards, Plywood, OSB, etc.
After being treated with the KHS.MFL fire retardant solution, the surface of the material that comes into contact with fire undergoes char formation, does not ignite, emit toxic smoke, or spread flames.
Materials treated with the KHS.MFL solution meet fire resistance standards according to QCVN06:2022/BXD.
CONSTRUCTION:
The surface must be dry and cleaned from dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc., before treatment. The optimal moisture content of wood, plywood should not exceed 15%. Application methods include brush application, roller application, spray gun, or immersion in the solution. The material’s surface, once dried, can be painted or coated with laminate, melamine finishes without compromising its fire resistance capability.
DOSAGE:
- Application by spraying, brushing: 80 – 150 grams/m²
- Immersion in the solution: 120 – 180 grams/m²
- Processing time: 3 – 60 minutes.
- Dosage and time depend on material permeability, dryness, and thickness.
- Recommendation: Pressure soaking is recommended for optimal effectiveness.

Drying time: 2 – 12 hours at +25°C, 65% humidity, fully dry within 24 – 48 hours.
PACKAGING:
- Cans: 5 – 20 kg
SHELF LIFE:
- 12 months in sealed packaging, at temperatures from +8 to +35°C in a cool, well-ventilated place, avoiding direct sunlight.
LABOR SAFETY MEASURES:
After usage, clean tools with clean water. Wear personal protective equipment while working: gloves, masks, safety glasses. Avoid direct contact of the solution with plants and surrounding metals. In case of contact with eyes, wash repeatedly with clean water and seek medical attention.
